* Baseball: Charles B. Aycock 9, South Central 1 -- The sophomore tandem of Jordan Gay and Luke Frederick combined for a two-hitter during the Golden Falcons' victory in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play. Gay, who earned the mound win, fanned six SC batters and allowed an earned run on no hits. Frederick provided three innings of four-strikeout relief. Frederick emerged as the offensive leader with three hits. Caleb Matthews, Carson Smitherman (two RBI), Cody Whaley (RBI) and Nick Aycock (RBI) supplied two hits apiece. Tyler Daniels (RBI) and Blake Gipson (two RBI) each had one hit.
