North Lenoir drills New Bern

Reed Parris tossed a three-hitter and posted four strikeouts as North Lenoir dismantled New Bern, 13-2, on day one of the annual Pitt County Classic.
Jackson Sullivan and Garrett Letchworth paced the Hawks' offense with three hits apiece. Joseph Harrison belted a two-run home run. Will Braxton and Allen Sutton each contributed two hits.
North Lenoir (3-5 overall) faces South Central on Monday.
