Wayne Christian survives slugfest with Grace-Sanford

SANFORD -- Mason White and Ryan Kennedy each delivered a two-hit performance, and Wayne Christian escaped with a wild, 13-11 victory over Grace Christian in a Carolina Christian 1-A Conference game Tuesday.
White collected three RBI.
Jaxon Anderson, Will White, Hunter Burt, Seth Harrell and C. Hill (RBI) each had one hit. Wellington drove in a run.
Harrell started on the mound and allowed four runs (one earned) on three hits and five walks in 21/3 innings. Anderson threw two innings of two-hit, one-strikeout relief.
Mason White earned the save with a two-strikeout effort in 22/3 innings. The trio of pitchers combined for six strikeouts.
