Eagles trip up Wildcats in Carolina 1A softball

NEWTON GROVE -- Kaitlyn Kincaid hurled a complete-game three-hitter as Rosewood dispatched Hobbton, 9-2, in a Carolina 1-A Conference game.
Kincaid posted six strikeouts inside the circle.
Hailey Weeks, Shayla Marak (RBI), Toree Marak (three RBI) and Keelin Hunter pounded out two hits apiece offensively. Braylee Butts added one hit and was part of a three-run, third-inning uprising.
The Eagles (3-2 overall) remained unbeaten in three conference outings this season.
