Chargers' Debowsky earns medalist honors

Wayne Country Day's Mitch Debowsky earned medalist honors with a nine-hole round of 39 during a dual-team meet against Wayne Christian contested on the Goldsboro Municipal Golf Club links.
Fellow Chargers Joey Democko, Charlie Roethling and Lee MacDonald each carded a 43.
WCDS won the meet 168-212.
Maciah Singletary emerged as Wayne Christian's low scorer with a 49. Teammate Drake Wise fired a 50. Logan Jackson and Braxton Flores rounded out the Eagles' team score with marks of 55 and 58, respectively.
