Uzzell tosses four-hit shutout for EW

Elizabeth Sutton collected an RBI as Eastern Wayne shut out Farmville Central, 2-0, on Thursday evening.
Chelsea Wynn, Chloe Smith and Tamarria Smith each batted 2-for-3 for the Warriors. EW had 13 hits as a team and committed just two errors on defense.
Emily Uzzell retired four Jaguars on strikeouts in a complete-game effort.
The Warriors (2-3 overall) entertain South Central next Tuesday.
