Warriors fall to Bears in OT

NEW BERN -- Malik Williams supplied 17 points as Eastern Wayne dropped an 85-79, overtime loss to New Bern in first-round play of the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference tournament Tuesday evening.
Williams also pulled down five rebounds.
Ethan Molloy logged 11 points and seven rebounds. Senior guard KK Best posted nine points, five assists and three steals.
The playoff-bound Warriors return to home next Tuesday for a first-round game in the N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 3-A playoffs. Playoff pairings will not be announced until Saturday.
