Conference Carolinas releases preseason men's, women's tennis polls

MOUNT OLIVE -- The University of Mount Olive men's tennis team is picked to finish second, according to the Conference Carolinas preseason poll.
The Trojans received 70 points and two first-place nods. UMO won 18 matches last season and finished a perfect 10-0 against league opposition.
UMO advanced to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
The Trojan women were tabbed fourth in the preseason poll after a 14-win campaign in 2015. UMO earned 66 points.
UMO launches its 2016 campaign with men's and women's matches at in-state foe Lenoir-Rhyne on Feb. 6.
