Wayne Christian girls knock off Greenfield, snap 14-game skid

WILSON -- Wayne Christian snapped a 14-game skid with a 36-31, non-conference victory over Greenfield School on Thursday evening.
Kasey Norris paced the visiting Eagles' offensive attack with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Abi Harrelson contributed nine points and Adayah Ginn scored eight.
Mercy Wright pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds.
Wayne Christian's home game against Carolina Christian 1-A Conference foe Lee Christian scheduled for today has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Eagles entertain CCC foe Community Christian next Friday.
