New Bern shuts down Aycock girls in 3rd quarter, rallies for ECC win

PIKEVILLE -- New Bern held Charles B. Aycock to seven points in the third quarter and rallied for a 49-42 victory on the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference scene Friday evening.
CBA led 22-19 at halftime.
Taylor Daniels paced the Golden Falcons' offense with 18 points. Lexie Edmundson scored 12 points.
Aycock (7-8 overall, 1-3 ECC) looks to snap a three-game slide Tuesday at J.H. Rose.
