Hill, Atwood lead WCDS to road win

GREENVILLE -- PJ Hill and Cole Atwood pumped in 15 points apiece and Wayne Country Day snapped a three-game skid with a 71-45 romp over Pope John Paul II Catholic High School in a Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference game Thursday evening.
Jamal Forde knocked down 14 points and Justin Lofton-Russell added 12 for the Chargers, who evened their CPIC worksheet at 1-1.
Wayne Country Day (12-8 overall) entertains Terra Ceia today.
