Warriors' Hamilton drops 24 points on Aycock

JACKSONVILLE -- Coastal Carolina signee Naheria Hamilton dropped in a game-high 24 points as Eastern Wayne dumped county rival Charles B. Aycock, 46-32, in consolation-round play of the East Coast Christmas Classic on Wednesday afternoon.
Nyesha Best added eight points for the Warriors. Twin sister Myesha Best suffered a right knee injury midway through the third quarter and was transported to the hospital. Best is expected to fully recover.
Taylor Daniels knocked down 14 points for the Golden Falcons. Teammate Tamika Powell collected six points, while Hannah Vinson provided four points.
Eastern Wayne (5-3 overall) opposed Southern Wayne in the fifth-place game today, while Aycock (6-5) met Richlands in the seventh-place game.
