JACKSONVILLE -- Miranda Glover pumped in 11 fourth-quarter points and finished with 24 overall during Swansboro's opening-round, 59-49 conquest of Eastern Wayne in the East Coast Christmas Classic on Monday afternoon.
The Warriors pulled to within 40-36 on Naheria Hamilton's offensive putback with 6:47 remaining in regulation. Glover answered with a 3-pointer and converted two free throws to squelch any further comeback attempt by Eastern Wayne.
Hamilton, who has signed with Coastal Carolina, posted a double-double -- 12 points, 14 rebounds. Perry added 11 points, followed by Treycie Ford with eight.
Nyesha Best and Vivian Jackson chipped in six points apiece.
Eastern Wayne fell to 3-4 overall.
