Freeman leads WCDS girls to overtime win

Lillian Freeman dropped in a career- and game-high 20 points as Wayne Country Day earned a 51-45 overtime victory against non-conference foe Community Christian on Thursday evening.
Lexi Jeffreys added 19 points, including the game-tying free throw to force overtime. The teams were tied at 42-all after regulation.
The Chargers (2-7 overall) are the guests of Trinity of Fayetteville next Tuesday.
