* Girls' basketball: South Johnson 26, C.B. Aycock 20 -- Freshmen Sharon Moorefield and Kania Slocum tallied five points apiece in the Golden Falcons' non-conference loss Tuesday. CBA made nine field goals as a team.
* Boys' basketball: C.B. Aycock 31, South Johnston 30 (OT) -- Sophomore Muhammad Brooks paced the Golden Falcons' attack with a team-high 14 points. Sophomore Marquez Farmer contributed 11 points. CBA is the guest of Rosewood on Friday.
* Boys' basketball: Wayne Country Day 55, Wayne Christian 42 -- Logan Jackson posted a double-double -- 14 points, 10 rebounds -- in the Eagles' loss to their archrival on Tuesday. Micaiah Singletary contributed 14 points and four rebounds. Jaxon Anderson added 11 points and six steals.
