* Girls' basketball: C.B. Aycock 20, North Lenoir 14 -- Freshman Kania Slocum and sophomore Darilyn Lancaster scored seven points apiece in the Golden Falcons' road win.
* Boys' basketball: North Lenoir 42, C.B. Aycock 38 -- Sophomore Jordan Woodard emerged as the Golden Falcons' top scorer with 11 points. Sophomore Marquez Farmer added nine points.
* Boys' basketball: Neuse Christian 54, Wayne Christian 40 -- Jayden Young and Micaiah Singletary paced the Eagles' offense with 10 and eight points, respectively. Will White contributed six points and three rebounds. Austin Strickland supplied four points and three rebounds.
* Boys' basketball: Goldsboro 91, Rocky Mount Prep 41 -- Jarrad Scott poured in a game-high 21 points in the Cougars' road win. Aaron Smith scored 14 points, followed by De'Quan Pigford (11 points), Elijah Curtis (10) and Damien Brown (9). Goldsboro plays host to Southern Wayne today.
