WCDS boys' soccer team posts road shutout

ROCKY MOUNT -- Three different players scored goals as Wayne Country Day blanked Rocky Mount Academy, 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
Tony Townsend, Ben Cohen and Matt Kierski each collected one goal.
Cohen, Hunter Bryson and John Thompson dished out one assist apiece.
"(A) good win on the road for us tonight against a very well-organized Rocky Mount team," WCDS head coach Steve Ellis said. "We tried a few different things out again to help us moving forward in the season."
The Chargers (7-1-0) entertain Oakwood on Thursday.
