JV

* Volleyball: Rosewood d. Eastern Wayne 25-17, 24-26, 25-16 -- Braylee Butts served seven aces and had one kill in the Eagles' three-set road win over the Warriors on Tuesday. Jala Holloman added one kill, two aces and six digs. Rosewood improved to 1-3 overall.

* Volleyball: East Duplin d. North Lenoir 25-17, 25-23 -- The Hawks scored seven points with Kelsie Stocks on serve. North Lenoir fell to 2-3 on the season.

* Volleyball: North Johnston d. Goldsboro 25-12, 25-18 -- Caroline Foy served six aces in the Cougars' straight-set road loss. Goldsboro fell to 0-4 on the season.

Middle schools

* Volleyball: Wayne Country Day d. Community Christian 25-10, 25-18 -- Graysen Jeffreys served a match-high 14 aces for the victorious Chargers. Lexi Jeffreys added thre aces and four kills. Cate Eagles (two aces, three assists) and Summer Daniels (two aces, one kill) also contributed to the straight-set win. WCDS (2-0 overall) entertains Rocky Mount Academy nex Tuesday.
