Southside defense stuffs North Duplin's offense

CHOCOWINITY -- Southside's defense held North Duplin to minus-15 yards of total offense in a 50-0, season-opening victory Friday evening.
The Rebels had minus-21 yards rushing on 25 attempts.
ND quarterback William Archer completed one pass -- a six-yard reception by Luke Britt.
The Rebels (0-1 overall) play host to Pinetown Northside next Friday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at H.E. Grubbs Field.
