Margaret Tanner drew a hand ball in the box, and Langley Barnes put the penalty kick in the back of the net to give Wayne Country Day the only goal it would need against Freedom Christian on senior day.
The Chargers registered 23 shots on goal, and gave up just one to their opponents.
"It was a dominant performance from start to finish," WCDS coach Steven Ellis said. "Somehow we hit the keeper every time we had a chance on goal throughout the game. The girls kept working and the pressure high up the field got rewarded with a PK."
WCDS clinched the Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference regular-season title. They conclude regular-season play Friday at archrival Greenfield.
