SC erupts for two overtime goals, upends Princeton

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek scored two goals in the first three minutes of overtime and defeated Carolina 1-A Conference foe Princeton 5-3 in a see-saw battle to take control of the conference.
Madison Harkay stole a throw-in the first minute of overtime and crossed to Griselda Vazquez for the goal. Shortly after, Rheanna Ried punched in an insurance goal to seal the win.
Ried finished with two goals. Harkay and Vazquez each tallied a goal and two assists. Jordan Lane rounded out the scoring with a goal for the Gators.
Spring Creek (12-1-0 overall) improved to 10-1-0 in league play. Princeton fell to 12-3-0, including 8-2 against conference opposition.
