Middle schools
* Softball: Grantham 7, Mount Olive 0 -- Mackenzie Bryan threw a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts to lead Grantham past Mount Olive on Monday. Kelly Dail, Amber Pfennig, Bryan and Grace Tart all had two hits apiece. Grantham is 9-0 overall and finishes 6-0 in conference play. They finish the season next Monday against Rosewood.
* Softball: Cape Fear Christian 12, Wayne Christian 3 -- Haylie Vermie and Leah Braswell each had two hits for Wayne Christian in the loss. Wayne will play Lee Christian today to finish a game that was rained out.
