Golden Falcons wrap up golf season at Bradford Creek

GREENVILLE -- Senior Noah West carded a 77 to lead regional-bound Charles B. Aycock to a second-place finish in the season-ending Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference tournament contested at Bradford Creek Country Club on Monday afternoon.
Mitchell Langston and Brett Bartlett turned in identical 18-hole rounds for the Golden Falcons, who posted a four-player total of 320. Brice Jones completed the team scoring with an 85.
Alex Weaver shot an 87.
Victor Kokiko paced Eastern Wayne with an 80, followed by teammate Drew Grady with an 82. Willis Underwood shot an 85. Blake Poland and Zack Lancaster each carded a 95. Kokiko, Grady and Underwood each qualified as an individual for the N.C. High School Athletic Association eastern regional, scheduled for next Monday at Wilson Country Club.
The Warriors finished with a 343.
Southern Wayne's Jonathan Langston, who shot a 77, earned a spot in the regionals. The Saints collected a team score of 366.
