Bethel Christian defeats Wayne Christian

Wayne Christian's comeback effort fell short in a 4-3, non-conference loss to N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A member Bethel Christian.
Wayne scored all three runs in the sixth after trailing 4-0.
The Eagles committed five errors.
Austin Howell, Holden Foster, Hunter Burt, Brandon Price and Ryan Kennedy each had one hit for the Eagles. Price's lone hit was a solo homer.
Ted Suggs endured the loss on the mound, going six innings and giving up four unearned runs on six hits. He struck out four and walked none.
Wayne Christian fell to 10-6 overall.
