Hall claims medalist honors; CBA emerges as top team

Goldsboro's Matt Hall shot an even-par 36 on the back nine and claimed medalist honors with a 74 during a three-team, non-conference meet at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course on Wednesday.
Charles B. Aycock edged the host Cougars, 327-336, in team competition. Eastern Wayne shot a 374. Blake Bartlett paced CBA with a 77, followed by Bryce Jones (80), Mitchell Langston (84) and Alex Weaver (86).
Luke McAlduff and Ty West complimented Hall with 18-hole rounds of 80 and 87, respectively. Cameron Anderson rounded out the Cougars' four-player total with a 95.
Drew Grady led Eastern Wayne with a 79. Austin Uzzell and Justin Whaley each shot a 98, while Nathan Coker finished with a 99.
