Kenan's Pridgen claims medalist honors

CLINTON -- James Kenan's Cole Pridgen claimed medalist honors with 68, while Lakewood emerged as the low-scoring team during a Carolina 1-A Conference meet played on the Timberlake Golf Course links.
Griffin Faircloth fired a 73 for Lakewood, which posted a four-player total of 343 -- 12 strokes better than Rosewood and one additional shot better than James Kenan.
Dylan Champion paced Rosewood with an 87. Cameron Klages and Dylan Greene each posted an 88. Andrew Ingram completed the Eagles' scoring with a 92.
Kelvin Woodard led Princeton with an 87.
Hunter Brock, North Duplin's lone competitor, finished third overall individually with a 77.
