Weeks, Tyndall combine for no-hitter; Thornton nearly hits for the cycle

WARSAW -- Callie Thornton just missed hitting for the cycle in Rosewood's 16-0, mercy-rule conquest of Carolina 1-A Conference foe James Kenan on Monday afternoon.
Thornton doubled, tripled and swatted a home run for the Eagles.
Sophomore Hailey Weeks and freshman Macy Tyndall combined for a no-hitter inside the pitcher's circle. Weeks emerged as the winning pitcher.
JK committed nine errors on defense.
