CBA softball wins slugfest against North Johnston

PIKEVILLE -- Madison Walton and Tanika Powell each cranked out three hits to lead Charles B. Aycock to a 10-7 win over North Johnston on Thursday.
Mackenzie Wheeler had a two-run home run for her lone hit. Walton had two doubles.
Allie Phillips pitched seven innings in the circle and struck out one and walked one. She gave up nine hits and five earned runs.
Aycock is 1-1 overall and travels to New Bern today.
