Creech scores twice, Rams upend Spring Creek

Will Creech drove in two runs and Greene Central managed just four hits in a 5-3, non-conference triumph over Spring Creek at "The Swamp" on Monday afternoon.
Creech, Bailey Ormond, Justin Lee and Tyler Jones each had a hit for the Rams. Ormond, Jones and Hunter Murphy supplied one RBI apiece.
Austin Mooring, Nick Kearney, Hunter Moore and Creech combined for a three-hitter on the mound. The quartet three runs -- two in the fourth inning and one in the sixth.
Sawyer Smith (two runs scored), Chad Spurgeon (RBI) and Hunter Walker each had a hit for the Gators. Will Rouse provided an RBI.
SC used four pitchers -- starter Logan Miller, Matt Dupuy, Walker and Spurgeon. The quartet combined for six strikeouts.
The teams combined to leave 13 runners on base.
