Rosewood girls cruise past Neuse Charter

Rosewood dominated from the opening tip in a 57-25 Carolina 1-A victory over Neuse Charter on Tuesday.
The Eagles led 43-7 at halftime.
Lexi Mercer led the way with 18 points, nine rebounds, five steals and two blocked shots. Krystal Yelverton and freshman Jala Holloman combined for 21 points.
Rosewood (17-3 overall, 12-1 CC) entertains Princeton on Thursday.
