Middle schools
* Girls' basketball: Wayne Christian 22, Community Christian 21 -- Beverly Tabe led the Eagles' offense with 11 points. Allison Whitfield and Abi Harrelson knocked down four points apiece. Wayne Christian (11-4 overall) faces Faith Christian of Rocky Mount today for the Eastern Carolina Christian Conference tournament championship.
* Girls' basketball: Dillard 39, Rosewood 35 -- McKayla Roberts and Tyanna Morrison supplied 16 and 13 points, respectively, in Dillard's season-ending victory. Rylee Myers and Koreyana Bell emerged as Rosewood's top scorers with 10 points apiece. Dillard (10-3 overall) finished 6-2 in Wayne County Middle School Athletic Conference Division I play.
