Princeton girls slip past North Duplin

PRINCETON -- Charley Cox tickled the twine for a game-high 23 points as Princeton turned back North Duplin, 37-32, on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene Friday evening.
Cox pulled down 17 rebounds, pick-pocketed the Rebels for four steals and shot 18 of 22 from the free throw line. Emily Ricks added eight points.
Jackie Farrior had seven steals and blocked five shots.
The Bulldogs (9-11 overall, 7-5 Carolina) visit Lakewood on Tuesday.
