Middle schools
* Girls' basketball: Grantham 34, Greenwood 8 -- Erykah Baldwin and Amber Pfennig collected 10 and eight points, respectively, in the Bulldogs' victory Wednesday afternoon. Grantham (9-2 overall) remained unbeaten in six Wayne County Middle School Athletic Conference Division II contests this season.
* Boys' basketball: Grantham 54, Greenwood 52 -- Jamal King emerged as the game's top scorer with 23 points for the victorious Bulldogs. DeAndre Wright knocked down 16. Isaiah Wilder and Kris Clark provided 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the T-Birds. Grantham improved to 10-1 overall this season.
