League-leading Lakewood turns back PHS girls

PRINCETON -- Three players scored six points apiece as Princeton dropped a 55-34 decision to Lakewood in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Tuesday evening.
Lakewood had three players -- Jada Mave, Brianna Evans and Kiaya Rich -- in double figures to lead the Leopards.
Charley Cox, Presley White and Jordan Benson led the Bulldogs in the scoring column.
Princeton (4-9 overall, 2-3 CC) is the guest of North Duplin today.
