Eastern Wayne's Poland torches nets for 25 points

GREENSBORO -- Blake Poland poured in 25 points and Eastern Wayne upended Western Guilford in the Martin Luther King Classic on Monday.
Poland pulled down seven rebounds and dished out four assists for the Warriors, who improved to 4-11 overall. Micah Smith had 19 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots.
Zeke Martin contributed 10 points and six rebounds.
Eastern Wayne returns home today for a battle against county and Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference rival Southern Wayne.
