GREENVILLE -- Pope John Paul II converted an old-fashioned three-point play with 2.7 seconds to go, and turned back Wayne Country Day, 35-32, on the Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference scene.
TT Ramsey paced a balanced Chargers offense with 10 points. Jasmine Jones and Lillian Freeman each scored eight points.
WCDS (0-13 overall, 0-2 CPIC) play host to Wilmington Christian on Tuesday.
