Tigers defeat Bulldogs in Carolina 1A boys' opener

PRINCETON -- After a slow start in the first quarter, James Kenan rallied 50-44 win over Princeton in each team's Carolina 1-A Conference opener on Tuesday.
John Brooks scored 19 points to lead the Tigers, who scored just six points in the first quarter.
Mike Wooten scored 13 for the Bulldogs and Tanner Woodard added 11.
The Bulldogs (1-6 overall) are the guests of Neuse Charter on Thursday.
