Rosewood matmen dominate Clinton, AG

LITTLEFIELD -- Rosewood emerged victorious in 23 contested matches and earned 19 pins during non-conference triumphs over Clinton and host Ayden-Grifton on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles handed Clinton a 71-9 setback and dumped the Chargers 60-18.
Evan Reiss (152 pounds), Tyler Rowe, Dylan Melgar, Kaleb Smith, Rayquon Jones, Kaleb Taylor, Tanner Smith, Reid Amodeo, David Dotson, Malique Boyd, Jayden Thomas and Donald Knowles each picked up a win against the Dark Horses.
Reiss, Melgar, Josh Drew, Garner Beasley, Jones, Taylor, Smith, Boyd, Dotson, Joyner and Sterling Scott each defeated their respective opponent in the Ayden-Grifton match.
Rosewood (10-2 overall) returns to action Friday in the prestigious WRAL Invitational in Raleigh. Athens Drive is hosting the two-day individual tournament.
