New Bern boys slip past C.B. Aycock

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock continued its rough first season under first-year head coach Dave Elmore with a 47-40 loss to Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe New Bern on Tuesday.
Cam Kornegay had 11 points and Bryce Jordan added 10 for the Golden Falcons.
CBA (1-11 overall, 0-1 ECC) travels to county foe Southern Wayne on Thursday.
