PIKEVILLE -- Myleah Jones and Connor Vinson led a balanced scoring attack as Charles B Aycock dismantled Southern Nash, 62-27, on Wednesday evening.

Jones and Vinson each finished with 15 points. Taylor Daniels added 12.

The margin of victory allowed Golden Falcons head coach Roy Harrell to play his entire bench, something he views as one of his main goals for every game.

"What I liked most about this win is that everyone gets a chance to play, and gets to play a lot," he said. "As much as I like to win, I want all the girls to be able to get into the game. They all come to practice and they all work hard, so [getting them in] is always one of my goals."

CBA routinely used "hockey line" substitutions, swapping out four or five players at a time. It's a strategy Harrell has the luxury of using because of the talent all the way down the bench.

"I really don't have any weak links on the team," he said. "We really don't fall off at all when we put that 2nd five in."

Destiny Burgess led the Ladybirds with 12 points.

The Golden Falcons visit Goldsboro on Friday.
