CALYPSO -- North Duplin couldn't recover after scoring just seven points in the first half and dropped a season-opening, 48-25 defeat to Lejeune on Tuesday.
Rylee Pate's 10 points made her the only Rebel to reach double figures. Shaily McCarty had six points.
Oeniyah Jackson and Abbey Miller combined for 27 points for Lejeune.
The Rebels (0-1 overall) visit East Duplin on Thursday.
