Burton shares 18th place in 1A state golf tournament

FOXFIRE VILLAGE -- Rosewood junior Lindsey Burton shares 18th place overall after first-round action of the NCHSAA 1-A golf championships.
Burton shot a 96 along with West Stokes' Alivia Daniels and West Davidson's Olivia Sharpe on the par-72 Red Fox Course at Foxfire Resort and Golf Club.
The 36-hole tournament concludes today.
