Golden Falcons fall to state-ranked Rampants

GREENVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock gave up 35 second half points and dropped a 45-0 decision to state-ranked J.H. Rose in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference contest Friday evening.
The Golden Falcons moved the football, collecting 16 first downs and compiling 300 yards of total offense. Quarterback TJ Morrow accounted for 215 yards of total offense -- 65 rushing, 138 passing and 12 receiving.
Chandler Matthews caught four passes for 65 yards and Tyrique Ford had 53 yards on seven grabs.
C.B. Aycock (4-4 overall, 1-2 ECC) plays host to D.H. Conley next Friday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Hardy Talton Stadium.
