Eastern Wayne trips up New Bern in ECC tennis

The team of Brennan Dove-Samantha Roux won the decisive doubles match 8-3 over Charlee Miller-Emma Seif to give Eastern Wayne a 5-4 win over Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe New Bern on Tuesday afternoon.
Dove, Roux and Elizabeth Sutton each prevailed in singles for the Warriors. Sutton-Emily Uzzell emerged victorious at No. 1 doubles.
Eastern Wayne (4-5 overall, 4-4 ECC) plays host to North Lenoir today.
