Hawks soar past Vikings on volleyball court

North Lenoir swept Kinston 25-12, 25-20, 25-16 in the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference opener for both teams Thursday evening.

Laura Haerer had five kills and four blocks for the Hawks.

Paige Sports had three kills and Mya Parks had 12 service points.
