JV sports
* Volleyball: Rocky Mount 2, North Lenoir 0 -- North Lenoir dropped both sets to Rocky Mount 16-25, 17-25. Stats were not submitted to the News-Argus.
* Volleyball: Beddingfield 2, Goldsboro 0 -- Goldsboro dropped both sets to Beddingfield 23-25, 15-25. The Cougars' record is 1-6.
Middle schools
* Volleyball: Wayne Country Day 2, Wayne Christian 1 -- Wayne Christian won the first game before Wayne Country fought back to steal the second two and the match 17-25, 25-15, 25-20. Stats were not submitted to the News-Argus.
