WILSON -- Charles B. Aycock had its closest match of the year, but used two wins on the doubles courts to pull out a 5-4, non-conference victory over perennial Big East 3-A power Wilson Fike on Wednesday.
Ashton Walker, Sabrina Johnson and Emmie Collins each earned a point in singles play.
Walker-Kassidy Pitchford and Casie Belom-Cassidy Coerver both won on the doubles courts to secure the victory for the Golden Falcons.
