While our lady group was waiting for tee-times on Saturday morning, a young boy rushed into the pro shop so excited that he was walking around showing everyone a ball with eagle written on it.

Young 11-year-old Matthew Coltrain had just scored an eagle on hole No. 4.

Matthew was playing with his dad, Ricky Coltrain, and Krtistin Holmes.

An eagle is quite a feat and especially for one so young.

Congratulations, Matthew!

The popular Saturday afternoon couples superball saw three couples tie with an even-par 71.

They were Ron Van Dyke and Carolyn Strickland, Terry Columbus and Nick Columbus, and Bill Roboli and Annie Roboli.

Bobby Holland and Randy Holland also enjoyed the 18-hole superball outing on Saturday afternoon.

Congratulations to Susie Sutton.

Susie and Harold Sutton live on the Berkley Golf Course at Hilton Head and Susie had a hole-in-one while playing with Harold and their son, Tanner.

Susie received $1,000 for making her ace.

Way to go Susie! I wonder who took out for steaks that night?
