After entering halftime tied at 1-1, Wayne Country Day took control with three second-half goals and defeated Burlington School, 4-2, on Thursday afternoon.
Tony Townsend put two goals away on assists from Jacob Magera and Matt Kierski.
Noah Adkins took advantage of a fumbled ball from Burlington's keeper and collected a goal for himself. Then after Adkins drew a foul, Hunter Bryson drilled a free kick in to the back of the net.
"As soon as we upped our tempo, Burlington couldn't keep up with us," WCDS head coach Steven Ellis said.
Led by strong back line play, particularly from Parker Smith, WCDS earned a 16-5 shot advantage.
WCDS (4-2-1 overall) plays host to Wayne Christian on Tuesday.
