Golden Falcons net non-conference tennis victory

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock swept the doubles courts and turned back perennial 2-A powerhouse Greene Central, 7-2, on Wednesday afternoon.
The tandems of Ashton Walker-Kassidy Pitchford, Cassidy Coerver-Casie Belom and Haley Creech-Meredith Jones each prevailed in their respective doubles match.
Walker, Pitchford, Sabrina Johnson and Emmie Collins each claimed a singles point for the unbeaten Golden Falcons.
C.B. Aycock (4-0 overall) continues Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play at D.H. Conley today.
